Hi! I’m Xinran (SHEEN-ran) Hu
I’m a Ph.D. candidate in economics from the Melbourne institute of Applied Economic and Social Research at the University of Melbourne.
My research interests are development economics and household economics. Specifically, I’m interested in marriage and household decision making under a developing world context.
My name is written as “欣然” in Chinese, which is an adverb that roughly means “gladly”. Yes as every edgy kid I once hated my name being generic.
Wanna keep in touch?
